Thank you Michael for reminding readers of Galbraith and his work. Do you suppose the speech by Galbraith might be located in other places? In his own papers perhaps in a library? It should probably be unearthed and reprinted, giving the historical context. I always appreciated his clarity about economics and how the system works. Maybe Robert Reich would know how to get a copy?

I did actually look for it. There are several collections of his letters and miscellany but they are published by university presses and are hideously expensive and don't have searchable contents. He was such a great thinker and clear writer

Universities aren't doing anyone a favor with their high costs. What about the Library of Congress? Or maybe like the last scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark, it is stashed in a warehouse OR in a nondescript box of papers in an attic somewhere😉 Who knows? Thanks for responding.
